Judith "Judy" Ann Kahler, 80, of Strafford, MO passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026. She was born June 11, 1945, to Clifford and Helen Birkland in Chicago, IL.

Judy loved to hunt for bargains and knew all of the best places to go. She collected antiques and had an eye for unique items. She volunteered her time at Thrift Haven, as well as several other thrift stores in the area, which gave her the opportunity to meet new people. She was a natural at making everyone feel welcome. When Judy was at home, she enjoyed baking and putting together puzzles. Most of all, Judy loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. Nothing meant more to her than her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Judy is survived by her husband, Douglas "Doug" A. Kahler; her son, Kenneth Allan Bober, Jr.; grandson, Tyler Bober; and great grandchildren, Mckenzie Bober and Cole Bober; her great niece, Melissa Townsend; and the many friends that she made while volunteering.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
