Joyce LaRene (Arndt) Riddell, 80, of St. James , MO, passed away October 8, 2021. Joyce was born June 6, 1941, in LaPorte, IN, to Donald and Ruby Arndt.

On July 30, 1960 she was united in marriage to Richard (Dick) Riddell. They had 55 years together and raised 4 children.

Joyce was an amazing cook and loved to entertain friends and family with a fine meal . Her great sense of humor and as many hands of canasta or pinochle as you were willing to play sometimes into the wee hours of the night. She was a huge fan of trivia and was totally disappointed if she missed a single episode of Jeopardy.

She devoted her life to her family and her Faith. She dedicated her life to Jehovah in August 1963 when she became  a baptized  Jehovah's Witness and from that point on spent most of her time preaching The Good News of God's Kingdom and telling others of the hope of everlasting life.

Joyce is survived by 3 children:1 son Joseph Riddell of St. James, 2 daughters Sarah Wagoner and her husband Wayne of Lebanon, and Nancy Steavens and husband Lorne of Cuba. Grand sons Joshua, Kyle, Lee and Brett one Grand Daughter Brittany, Great grand children Hailie husband Tristan, Isaiah Wife Holly, Alexis,  Addysin, Alex, Jaxon, Ethan, Kaydence, Khloe. Great Great Granddaughters Mae Marie, Ellie Jane, and Rogue Pauline and a host of nieces and nephews family and friends.

Joyce was preceded in death by her loving husband Dick, her son John David Riddell and her brother John A Arndt

A memorial will be held on zoom on October 23 ^rd at 2 o'clock.
