Joyce Lubbers was called home to be with the Lord on January 26, 2026, at the age of 93.

Joyce was born to Arthur and Juanita Lubbers on September 7, 1933, in Deland, Illinois. As a child, she excelled in school and was a member of 4-H and various other school clubs.

Joyce went on to graduate from Mennonite College of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.

In addition to being a loving mother and grandmother. Joyce was active in church, healthy living, farming and was also thought of as the sweetest person anyone ever knew.

Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

Joyce joins her parents, Arthur and Juanita; her sister, Linda; brother Samuel; and her daughter, Kim in Heaven. She is survived by her daughter, Kristina and granddaughter, Sara.
