Obituary

Joseph Alfred Raymond Lapierre, 86, of Springfield, MO, passed away March 19, 2020. He was born January 7, 1934, in Manchester, NH, to Alfred and Germaine Lapierre. Joseph loved to travel. He was very intelligent (even worked for NASA) and enjoyed working with his hands especially creating pieces from wood.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1955-1958, leaving the service as a Second Lieutenant.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Joseph is survived by his 22 children, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, the mother of 13 of his children, 1 sister, and 2 brothers.

Services will be held at a later date in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
