John Alan Russell, 64, of Buffalo, MO, passed away December 14, 2018. He was born May 5, 1954, in Lynwood, CA, to John and Adath Russell.

John was a welding/pipefitter for 25+ years with Local 250 in Gardena, CA. He enjoyed attending car races, boat races, and anything that moved fast. He was a loving father, son, brother and uncle.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, John Floyd Huskey; and sister, Dawn Forbes.

John is survived by his son, John Russell Jr and wife Carly Sobye; grandchildren, Zane and Soren; mother, Adath Huskey; father, John H. Russell (Luann); siblings, Vicki Fraser, Valerie Hanners, Rick Russell (Teresa), Keith Huskey (Cheri), Kevin Huskey (Jodi), Lisa McCarthy (Darin), Krissy Crall (David), Johanna Jakositz (Chris), Trica Papka (Gerry); and 19 nieces and nephews.

A celebration of John's life will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, December 19, 2018, in the 1st Assembly of God, 517 Fir Street, Buffalo, MO, with Pastor Keith Pyle officiating.
