John Jacob Ruperd

(Feb. 25, 1961-April 18, 2014)

John passed into his Father's arms Friday at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.  He is survived by his son, John; daughter, Devina; mother, Leona; father, Walter; brothers, Walt and Dan; sister, Theresa; grandchildren, Aunts, Uncles and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He is also survived by the kind people of Mountain Grove who became not only his friends but his extended family.

John was a big man with a big heart who tried to help the people around him.  He took pride in his work and loved spending time with his friends.  He will be missed for his big voice and the stories of his adventures through life.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 27th at 6:00 pm at the Cabool Church of the Brethren which is located at 1003 Garst in Cabool, MO.  The family encourages his friends to gather together and remember him in the way he touched your lives.
