John Harman, 62, of Springfield, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, August 25, 2016. He was born in Santa Paula, California, on March 13, 1954. He was the son of the late Wesley and Bettye (Bishop) Harman.

John is survived by his four children, Erica Harman of Oxnard, California, Justin Harman of Springfield, Missouri, Kasie Harman of Republic, Missouri, and Kellie Harman of Springfield, Missouri; and his six grandchildren: Justice Harman, Albany Harman, Rosalyn Harman, Aiden Smiddy, Trinity Rogers, and Teagan Rogers.

John was an aircraft mechanic and served in the Navy. In his down time, he enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles. He was an avid father and grandfather. He was loved by many and his ornery personality will be severely missed.

Funeral will be held on Thursday September 1, 2016, at 1:00 pm, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery with full Military Honors. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
