John A. Goodman, 33, of Springfield, Missouri, began his walk with God Wednesday, October 16, 2013. He is survived by his parents, Shirley and Bob Goodman Jr.; two sisters, Audra and Emily; grandfather, Bob Goodman Sr.; one niece and one nephew; numerous aunts and uncles; countless cousins; two canine companions, Laycie and Skeeter; and his beloved fianc , Wieteke Waterborg. The happiest times of his life were those spent on a lake or in the woods. His strength, courage, and fortitude touched the lives of everyone around him. John was truly loved and will be forever missed. A memorial visitation will begin at 6 PM with mass following at 7 PM on Friday, October 18, 2013 in Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, 2200 W. Republic Road, Springfield. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, Springfield.
