Johnny was born to Ralph and Nona Derrick Allen of Fair Grove MO. He passed away on Monday, July 18 2022, at the age of 82. John would have been 83 in August.

He attended and graduated from Fair Grove High School. He was married to the love of his life, Shirley Kelley Allen on August 19, 1960.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; their children, John Wayne (Rhonda) Allen and Delaina Allen; one grandchild, Jennifer; and a great grandson, Wyatt. John is also survived by his siblings, Sue Headlee, Bill (Donna) Allen, Mark Allen, and Bonnie (Steve) Cook; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Joe Allen.

John primarily worked for Dayco for many years and also did furniture sales. He loved to fish! His favorite lakes being Truman and Taneycomo.

Johnny loved to talk-he was a great communicator, he told wonderful stories and was a friend to many. He had a servant's heart and was willing to help anyone and everyone he possibly could.

He and Shirley made and kept life-long friends!
