Joseph "Joe" Allen Young, 72, a lifelong resident of Lebanon, MO passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024. He was born April 14, 1952, to John and Alpha Young.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John Drake Young.

Joe is survived by his daughter, Sammi Young; two grandchildren, Spencer Young and Rilee Jackson; his sister, Elaine Ruth Harmon; and his cousin, Curtis Barnett and his wife Sam.

Years ago, at the age of 16, Joe began working with his dad doing autobody and detailing work. He continued on doing this work out of his home for the next 30 years. He spent the next 10 years working at OMC Boat factory. In his downtime, he liked to be outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and gardening. Joe loved his family and friends more than anything. He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand whether he knew you or not. He truly had a heart of gold and will be missed by everyone that knew him.

Donations can be made to the family to help cover medical and funeral expenses.
