Joan Lynn Ridgely, 73, a resident of Springfield Villa, passed away on September 6, 2025.

She is survived by her two brothers, David (Louise) Decker and Stephen (Mary) Decker of Illinois, and one sister, Beth Lewis of Alabama.  She also is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Lance) McSparren, three grandchildren, Chase Ridgley, Bailey Waynick, and Brendan (Kelsey) Waynick, and great-grandson, Silas.

Joan earned her Master of Arts degree in Counseling and Family Therapy from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and founded and managed the Healthy Family Center which opened in Springfield, Missouri in 2002.

The family requests memorial gifts be made to support Parkinson's research.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
