Jimmy Lee White, 74, of Greenfield, MO, passed away June 17, 2016 in Springfield, MO. He was born October 13, 1941, in Polk County, MO, to Harvey Lee "Blue" White and Virginia Lois (Hook).
He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey "Blue" White; mother, Virginia "Lois" Claxton; step-father, Burvel "Pap" Claxton; and daughter, Jane Marie White.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Joyce White of Hoisington, KS; daughter, Jina Sezenne and son-in-law Joe Arellano of Garden City, KS; son, Brian White of Hoisington, KS; son, Blaine and daughter-in-law Jenn White of Omaha, AR; 18 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Alan Claxton and wife Karen of Bryan, TX; Sis Kahl of Springfield, MO
Jerry Claxton and wife Jackie of Springfield, MO and their children; lifetime friends, CC and Bun McLemore of Greenfield, MO, and a host of extended family and friends.
Jim served in the United States Air Force from February 1960 to June 1967, upon an honorable discharge he worked in various sales and bookkeeping positions throughout his life.
A private family ceremony will be held at a later date at his homestead.
