IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jessica
Nimmo
April 6, 1988 – November 11, 2022
Jessica Amber Martin-Nimmo was born in Joplin, MO on April 6, 1988, to Troy and Ginger Martin.
When Jess was little, she didn't like wearing clothes and would come out of them as quickly as she was dressed. As she got a little older, she decided she didn't like shoes or socks and was often found barefooted. As time went by, she wanted to be her big sister's shadow. She followed Jennifer everywhere and copied everything that she did. Jess and her younger brother Jacob would fight like cats and dogs but the two were inseparable.
She attended Hillcrest High School in Springfield, MO. While she was there, she became a member of the 1st all female marching band. In January 2002, she had the opportunity to travel to London and perform for Queen Elizabeth.
In 2005, she met her husband, Robert Nimmo, father of her son Kaden Nimmo. She then had a daughter, Addison Lee Stepp. Jessica was strong willed, but also bubbly and full of joy. She got along with everyone and could always make people laugh and feel better. She had many friends who will surely miss her.
Jessica passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022, and was preceded in death by her father, Troy Martin and her aunt, Tammy Webb.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Nimmo; son, Kaden; daughter, Addison Stepp; mother, Ginger Martin; siblings, Jennifer and Jacob (Lauren); grandmother, Sandra Harden; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
