Jessica grew up in Springfield, Missouri, with her brothers and sister and graduated from Glendale High School in 2009. As a child, she was a girly girl, but as she got older, she took more of an interest in sports and going on outdoor adventures, like swimming at the local pool all day. She was amazing at drawing and painting, she loved singing karaoke, and she was always cracking jokes. Her life was one with so many laughs and amazing memories in just 30 short years with us. Chapters of her story we will now hold dear.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Cody Garrison; and grandparents, Ann McVay and Harriet Dodd.

Jessica is survived by her daughter, Bay Fast; parents, Randy and Jackie McVay and Nancy Dodd-Hoffman; siblings, Reva, Jacob and Jackson McVay, Scotty Dodd; niece, Ruby Dodd; nephew, Hunter Dodd; aunts, Darla McVay, Cheryl Chaney and Andi Campbell; uncles, Derrick and Sean McVay, Robert, Thomas, and Jerry Dodd and Seth Campbell; and cousins, Haley McVay, Morgan Johnson, and Logan and Marley Campbell.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M., Thursday, February 3, 2022, at North Point Church in Nixa, MO.
