Obituary

Jerry Lee Sullivan of Springfield, MO, just 73 years old, died on December 29, 2021. The family is deeply saddened by his sudden death. He was born on April 2, 1948, in Enid, Oklahoma.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Scarlette Sullivan; son, Scott Sullivan; daughter, Cindy Turner; his younger brother, Larry Sullivan; younger sister, Shirley Groom; as well as his extended family and an abundance of friends. We will all miss him more than words can say.

Jerry owned his own business, J & S Gun and Pawn. Prior to opening his business, he was a Litigation Specialist at ANPAC.

Jerry was a caring and kindhearted person who devoted himself to his faith and the people around him. Every person that knew him from his previous life was witness to the transformative power of Jesus Christ in him. He lived a servant's life and modeled a servant's heart. Jerry would drop everything to attend to those who were sick and could not help themselves. More than once, he lovingly and patiently sat with people and prayed over them. He supported, encouraged, and prayed for all of us. He truly loved the way Christ loves.

We know that God is pleased to have one of His kind and generous sons back in his arms, where he belongs. He will be sorely missed by those on earth.

A Celebration of Jerry's life will be held from 5-7 PM, Friday, January 7, 2022, at the Mansion at Elfindale, 1701 S Fort, Springfield, Missouri, 65807.
