Gerald "J.R." "Jerry" Patrick Roberts was born September 20, 1947, in York, NE and passed surrounded by loved ones on July 15, 2023, in Springfield, MO. He was a lifelong Catholic, veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and lived most of his life in SW Missouri with a career in sales. His favorite jobs were outdoors at the lake, farm, or golf course. Jerry liked hunting, fishing, golfing, getting his truck washed, playing Farkle, cribbage, & gin, drinking a beer or two, burning a burger, and chatting with family and friends.

Jerry was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Jane (Walsh) Roberts. He is survived by three daughters, Trinette Roberts, Emily (Steve) Malin, and Karin (Shannon) Bollinger; one stepdaughter, Laurie (Tracy) Isaacs; brother, Steve Roberts; loving partner, Bev Pinnell; and many more family and friends. He was Papa Jerry to six grandbabies: Chelsea, Hunter, Skyler, Morgan, Grace, and Joy plus two great grandbabies: Abigail and Gwyneth.

Graveside services will be held at 10 AM, Monday, August 7, 2023, Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Rd., Springfield, MO 65804. A brunch/celebration of life will follow. In lieu of flowers, raise a glass with friends or spend some time outdoors.
