Gerald "Jerry" F. Braam, Jr., 58, of Springfield, MO, passed away suddenly June 5, 2021. He was born April 13, 1963, in Forest Lake, MN, to Gerald and Jeanette Braam.

Jerry enjoyed his job as a Respiratory Therapist with Rotech Health. He worked with veterans to ensure they received the best home health care possible. Jerry was very patriotic and loved America. He viewed life as an adventure and loved traveling and making memories. His role in Body for Life helped touch the lives of many and introduce him to people from all over the world. He had a passion for helping people become the healthiest version of themselves. But most of all, he loved his wife, his family, and his friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette (Jeannie) Norton.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Braam; her sons, Brock Johnson and wife Jade, Brody Johnson, and Bryce Johnson; step-son, Joe Squibb; in-laws, Bill and Barbara Conaway; sister-in-law, Angie Tooney and husband Fred; sister, Dawn Beardsley and husband Charles; niece, Diana Moor and husband Tyler; nephew, Christopher Schulz; step-father, Clayton Rollings; and many many friends and extended family members.

Jerry will be dearly missed by those that knew him.

A celebration of Jerry's life will be held later this summer.
