Jeraldine "Jerri" Underwood, age 84, passed away May 2, 2024 at BirchPointe Nursing Home in Springfield, Missouri.

Jerri was born January 6, 1940 in Portage, Wisconsin. Her mother passed away the day after Jerri was born and she was raised by her maternal grandparents in Wisconsin. She had fond memories of growing up on the farm, spending endless hours playing with her cousins, and learning to cook and garden.

Jerri was a member of Kings Way United Methodist Church in Springfield. She is survived by 5 step-children and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Underwood.
