Jennifer Lavonne McKnight, 52, a lifelong resident of Springfield, Missouri passed away Monday, September 23, 2024, around 10:00 p.m. The good Lord took her home.

Jennifer was married to her first husband, David Lonual Winchel, from 1990-1995 and remained close with him. She had an awesome spouse, Trevor Manning, who took very good care of her. She really enjoyed being a mother. She loved her kids and was the best grandma ever. She was an amazing wife, a better friend and was even better when times got tough. Jennifer was a genuinely amazing person that cared about everybody whether she knew them or not. She was the biggest empath, with the biggest heart. There are simply not enough words to express the impact that she made on those around her. She was truly amazing and will be missed, leaving an emptiness that can only be filled on the day we see her again.

Jennifer was preceded in death by Janetta and Hosea Taylor and Ethel and Newton Cribbs.

Jennifer is survived by her father, Doyle Cribbs; her mother, Virginia Fausett; her sister, Shelly Hawkins; her brother, Cameron Cribbs; her son, David Lee Winchel; her daughters, Ashley Winchel and Alesha Winchel; four grandsons, Devon Giley, Eli Harris, Hayden Harris, and Landon Hedden.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Zion Primitive Baptist Church, 1523 E. Talmage St Springfield, MO 65803 with a potluck lunch to follow.
