Obituary
Jennah Grace Nicholson, 73, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, in Springfield, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson and Evelyn Nicholson.
A graduate of Parkview High School in 1967, she spent her career as a Flight Attendant with United Airlines with domiciles in Chicago, Hawaii and Seattle. She volunteered on the second flight out of Sea-Tac International Airport into New York City after 911. She returned to Springfield after her retirement.
She is survived by sisters, Judy Groover and husband Phil and Jill Creson and husband, Rick; and brother, Jay Nicholson, all from the Springfield area. She was the "favorite and fun aunt" of 6 nieces and nephews and 13 great-nieces and nephews.
An excellent horse-woman in her younger years and a life-long animal lover, her family suggests donations may be made in her name to C.A.R.E Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 215, Aurora, MO 65605 or the charity of the donor's choice.
Services will be held at a later date in Hawaii.
She was loved. She will be missed. She is flying again.
