Jeffrey (Jeff) J. Pemberton of Galena, Missouri, formerly of Schaumburg, IL, died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Cox South Hospital, on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at the age of 72.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Judith (Chernick); daughters, Lori (Andrew) Rollins of South Elgin, IL, Lisa (Mark) Beese of McHenry, IL, and Michele Pemberton of Schaumburg, IL. Loving grandfather of Nicole, Jeff, Ryan and Jacob. Loving brother of Barbara Patuszynski and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur (Dale) and Gertrude (Lehner) Pemberton and close family friend, Walter (Wally) K. Heidrich.

Jeff was a gifted musician, playing for many years with the St. Matthew's choir.

On many Saturday nights he could be found playing guitar and singing with The Sidekicks at the Elks Lodge in Kimberling City, MO.

He loved boating, fishing and the beauty of living on Table Rock Lake. He was an avid Model Railroader. He loved the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Blackhawks, but most of all he loved his family and music.

A brief visitation will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 9:30 am, followed by a funeral Mass at 11am, in St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 1001 E. Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg, IL. Interment will be private.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
