Jeffrey Lynn Jones, 70, of Willard, MO, passed away peacefully at home on May 5, 2024. Jeff was born on November 7, 1953, to Robert Lynn Jones and Maxine "Mac" Ruth Coon in Des Moines, IA.

Jeff was raised in Indianola, Iowa where he graduated from high school in 1971. During high school he earned a football scholarship to Iowa State University.  He spent his college years playing football and became the co-captain his Junior and Senior year. He graduated in 1975 with a degree in Animal Science. After graduating college, Jeff married his first wife Karen and together had two children, Brandon and Jennifer. Jeff later married his current wife Cindi and together they had a son, Connor.

Jeff was extremely gifted in woodworking and could build anything. His passion for construction led to a career of building and remodeling many homes. He eventually retired from a career in contractor sales.

One of Jeff's greatest joys in life was spending time with family and friends. You could always find Jeff telling a funny joke or story that most people will never forget. He loved taking family vacations, cruising the lake on the pontoon, lounging in the pool, or just hanging out listening to the laughter amongst his family.

He is survived by his wife, Cindi; sons, Brandon (Yesenia) Jones and Connor Jones; daughter, Jennifer (Adam) Rinn; grandchildren, Sebastian, Jeremiah, Casey and Presley; and many other loving extended family and friends.

Jeff also had a strong love for animals and will greatly be missed by his two dogs, Jackson and Jacey along with his grandpups, Reghan and Luke. His dogs and grandchildren will forever miss his voice yelling, "Goodness!" and "So sweet!"

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Maxine Jones.

Services will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Elfindale Chapel 1701 S Fort Ave, Springfield, MO 65807 at 3:00pm with a reception to follow.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
