Willa Jean Williams, 79-year old Springfield, MO resident, passed away early Friday, January 29, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.  Jean was born September 25, 1941 to Hattie Mae Eaton in Strang, OK who preceded her in death in 1981. Jean was raised in Vinita, OK where she attended Attucks and Vinita High School. She married William Lee Williams who preceded her in death in 1991.

Jean led a full and active life. She worked for R.T. French's for many years and retired early 2000.  She loved traveling, attending church, and was a huge advocate for yearly family reunions.

She was most proud of her family: daughters; Connie Smith, Sherri (Gazelle) Norman, Linda Givens, sons; Craig Williams, and Thomas Williams who preceded her in death in 2016.  Seven grandchildren: Rosalyn (Shirley) Terry, Rachelle (Jakob) Fritz, Talesha Williams, Roman Blackywell, Rocco Blackywell, Matthew Givens, and David Smith. Twelve great-grandchildren, siblings; Maxine Arnold, Richard (Venessa) Eaton, James Sanders, Ronnie Eaton, Gladys (Nathan) Smith, Stella Marie Madlock who preceded her in death in 1995, Clifford Arvell (Eran) Eaton who preceded her in death in 2015, and sister-in-law and lifelong friend, Vivian Marie Williams. Along with many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. There were many others that thought of Jean as a mom, sister, and good friend.

To know Jean was to love her.  She'll be greatly missed by her family and friends.

The Celebration of Life has been rescheduled for March 13, 2021 at 3:00 pm, Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, 2026 W. Woodland St., Springfield, MO 65807.
