Jamie Darnell (J.D.) Roberson, of Bolivar, MO died on May 20, 2018, at the age of 36 years, 3 weeks. J.D. was born on April 29, 1982 in Sikeston, MO, to Tina Roberson and James Welch.

He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. J.D. enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, fixing vehicles and stereo systems and making up his own music on his guitars.

He was preceded in death by his mom, Tina Roberson Vaught.

He leaves behind his wife, Rhonda Roberson; his son, Robert Lunsford of Bolivar MO; his dad and stepmom, James and Lisa Welch of Dunnellon FL; his stepdad, Mike Vaught of Hayti MO; his brothers, Justin Welch of Bolivar MO and Jacob Welch of Marshfield MO; and his grandparents, Norman and Mary Welch of Winter Haven FL. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends in FL, VA, MO and KS.

As an organ donor J.D. saved four lives and was cremated then returned to his wife and family. A small family memorial was held at his home. A GoFundMe account has been set up in his honor to help his wife and brother with his hospital bills and final expenses.
