Jay "JD" Dee Tavenner, 59, of Springfield, MO passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023. He was born March 15, 1964, to Denzel and Janice Tavenner in Red Cloud, NE.

JayDee was a homebody. He enjoyed watching Nebraska play football, was an employee of Stamina Products and loved his Chiweenie dogs.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; his children, Meagan Smythe and husband, Jason; grandson, Tucker; mother, Janice Jones; father, Denzel Tavenner; siblings, Van Tavenner, Beau Kissinger and wife BJ, and Boston Kissinger and wife Amanda; many nieces and nephews; and his stepchildren, David Tipton, Stephanie Dobson and wife Meagan and their children.
