Jay Randolph Marshall, age 57 passed away on January 4th, 2025, at his home in Springfield Missouri. Jay was born on December 11, 1967, in Washington, Missouri to George Marshall and Pamela (Reisbig) Marshall. He was raised in Missouri as well as in Oregon before settling in Springfield as a teenager.
Jay attended Central High School where he met and made lifelong friends. He worked for a time as a roofer, and eventually trained to drive Semi Trucks, spending many years as a local and long-distance truck driver for several Springfield companies.
Jay married the love of his life, Missy Mcfall on August 10, 2002. He loved camping, playing chess, movies, spending time with his family and being a member of the Kearney Street Diehards.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Missy; his mother, Pamela; his daughter, M'Kenzie Tindal; and three brothers, Butch Marshall, Wesley Marshall and Mike Rhoads.
He is survived by his son, Ryan Pippin; his daughter, Skyla Tuttle Anoka (Zach), both of Springfield; as well as his father, George Marshall, of Springfield; and grandchildren, Ryilee James, Korben Anoka, Johnny Tuttle, and Onyx Tuttle. Jay is also survived by 5 brothers, David Marshall, Jeremy Marshall (Natalie), Allen Marshall, Bryan Martin (Mary) and Chris Martin (Kelly); seven sisters, Cindy Anson (Greg), Sheryl Volk (Brian), Lynn West (Daniel), Brenda Hansen (Eric), Lori Hoffman (Kurt), Samantha Weaver (Melanie), and Kari Bruns; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and brothers and sisters-in- law; and so very many dear and loving friends.
Jay was an amazing man, loved greatly by many and will be deeply missed by all the people whose lives he touched.
Arrangements were entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
