Obituary
Janos "John" Szabados, 83, of Fair Play, was born December 29, 1934, in Budapest, Hungary, and departed this life April 29, 2018, in Bolivar, MO. He was a member of the Catholic Church.
He came to the U.S. in 1954, where he became a valued employee at the General Motors car plant in California for 33 years. He met and married a Hungarian lady by the name of Anna and together they raised six children, Joseph, John, Steve, Frank, Margaret and Caroline.
John was a soft hearted, soft spoken man that was dearly loved.
He was preceded in death by his former wife and the mother of his children, Anna; and his parents.
He is survived by his six children Joseph Szabados, John Szabados, Steve Szabados, Frank Kertai, Margaret Terrill and Caroline Leyba; grandchildren, and two very special friends, Janie and Gordon Tom.
Inurnment will be at a later date in California.
