Janet Sue Stewart, 78, of Springfield, MO, passed away June 4, 2023. She was born February 7, 1945, in Springfield, MO, to Wallace and Betty Davison.

She married her high school sweetheart, Ron, on March 14, 1963. They were married for 57 years before his passing on November 8, 2020. Jan was a great Housewife keeping up with 2 children, and a Husband until she started her career at Hilldale Elementary School in 1973. She also worked for the Springfield School District and finished her career at Strafford Care Facility.

In her spare time, she enjoyed watching the St Louis Cardinals, Kansas City Chiefs, and especially watching NASCAR with her grandson, Rian.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Stewart; and parents.

Jan is survived by her daughter, Tami Waterman; son, Scott Stewart and wife Jo Ann; three grandchildren, Rian Waterman, Joshua Stewart, and Bailey Stewart, and 4 great grandchildren.
