Jane W. Peterson, 83, formerly of Terrace Park, OH, died Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017 in hospice care. Her son was present at the time of her passing.

Jane was born July 3, 1933 in Wayland, KY, the only child of Clemon C. and Margaret Payne Ward. She graduated from Mt. Healthy High School ('51) and received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Miami University ('55) in Oxford, Ohio where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. Jane was active in the Terrace Park Garden Club, the Greater Cincinnati Orchid Society, the Cincinnati Miniature Society, a Hall of Fame Doll Dresser for the Salvation Army, Tri-T, P.E.O. and Women's Club.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 47 years, Roger H. Peterson.

She is survived by her son, Brian (Jo Ann); and grandson, Chris Kopek.

A celebration of Jane's life will be held at the Terrace Park Community Building from 2:00-4:00 PM on Saturday, May 13, 2017. A tribute donation to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
