Jamie Lee Chandler, 41, of Springfield, MO, passed away on July 29, 2020. Jamie was born on May 24, 1979, to David Lee Chandler and Jo Anne Chandler. Jamie was born and raised in Springfield Missouri.

Jamie attended Hillcrest High school and graduated with honors in 1997. He continued his education through OTC, where he obtained his certification in Auto-mechanics. Jamie built and raced his own drag car when he was a sophomore at Hillcrest High.

Jamie's hobbies included reading, collecting baseball cards, and old Tonka trucks.

While in school, Jamie was a member of the National Honor Society and he received an award for attending 8 years of school without missing any days.

Jamie is survived by his older sister, Lisa Bridges and husband Jeff Mahan of Pleasant Hope, MO; brother, James Chandler and wife Kim of Brighton, MO; and his fraternal twin brother, Michael Chandler of Rogersville, MO. Jamie also leaves behind his nephews, Corey M. Richardson, Hunter D. Chandler, Mason J. Chandler; and his niece, Paige N. Chandler.

Jamie recently was the proud father of one son, Reid Moon Chandler, of Springfield Missouri.

Jamie was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Bonnie Russell of Springfield, Missouri.

The family will hold a memorial service and burial of ashes in the Autumn months. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services.
