James Earl (Moore) Todd, 78, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, Oct. 17, 2014. He was born on May 19, 1936, in Phillipsburg, MO, to Dewey Todd and Gladys Moore. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Moore; his father, Dewey Todd; stepfather, Lewis Hicks; a son, Junior Todd; brothers, Billy and Freddie Todd, Wayne and Edward Hicks; sisters, Sharon Todd and Melba Hicks, and five step-brothers and sisters, Alma and Retha Dame, Bud and Lawrence Hicks and Maxine Keller. He was saved and baptized at an early age. He was a member of Flatwoods Bible Church. He entered the Air Force in 1953 and was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. He worked in the automotive business, was a general manager at Acme Radiator and Air Conditioning. He also worked for Lakewood Ford, where he retired. After his retirement he also worked at Regal Beloit in Lebanon. His favorite sport was fishing, and he would be at Bennett Spring by 4:30 a.m. for the blowing of the whistle to fish. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Todd; and mother-in-law, Shirley Sence, of the home; two children, June Wallace and Hank Todd; three stepchildren, Carrie, Marsha and Keith; his brothers and sisters, Darlene Todd, Sue Tyre, Lynda Sheets, Doris McNew, Doyle Hicks, Paul Hicks, Tom Hicks, Kenny Hicks, Tommy Todd, Ora (Skeeter) Todd and Dewey Wayne Todd; his grandchildren, Shawn, Budd, Honesty, Justin, Carrie; and several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service for James Earl (Moore) Todd will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, in the Flatwoods Bible Church with Charles Millhouser officiating.
