James "Dennis" Tobias, 73, of Springfield, MO passed away Thursday, July 9, 2026. He was born November 25, 1952, to James and Ellen Tobias in Illinois.
Dennis was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He loved to play cards, Bingo, and gamble. He was very easy going and an all around good guy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Vickie Mitchelle.
Dennis is survived by his daughter, Jessie Tobias; siblings, JoEllen Snyder, David Tobias, Angela Dettorie, and Mark Tobias; and many nieces and nephews.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
