IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James Michael
Reinsch
September 4, 1957 – April 30, 2016
James Reinsch of Republic, MO went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 30th, 2016. Jim was born on September 4th, 1957 to Byron and Pearl Reinsch. He was a man of extremely high character who always spoke to those around him of "doing the right thing." He relished his role as a father, and the influence he had on his children cannot be measured. The sacrifices he made for his family will never be forgotten, and his honesty and love will continue to guide those he influenced.
Jim was born and raised in St. Louis, MO and after getting married and having children, he relocated his family to Southwest Missouri to provide them with a better life. He was a tireless worker in every position he ever held. Those who worked with Jim would describe him as "tough but fair," which was exactly how he liked it. Those who knew him better would describe him as thoughtful, kind, and sincere. He loved to be around young people and took every opportunity to have a positive influence on their lives. Jim was immensely proud of his children and grandchildren, and he found a way to make it to every game and event they participated in.
Jim was an avid Cardinals fan and loved watching his team, especially when they were beating the Cubs.
Among those celebrating his life are his wife of 35 years, Debbie Reinsch, who he adored and loved with all of his heart; daughter Melanie Underwood and son-in-law Dana; son Jason Reinsch and daughter-in-law Lacie; grandchildren Cannon, Averie, and Ella; sister Cathy Willoughby; many nieces and nephews; and friends throughout the Republic and Branson areas. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and in-laws.
Later in life, as Jim battled cancer, he became fond of saying "God is good" to all he encountered. His faith allowed him to persevere and see beauty in the darkness. His love for Christ was unshakable, and his faith carried him to the end.
We will be hosting a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 7th, from 5-7 p.m. at the pavilion in Miller Park, which is located at 711 E. Miller Rd, Republic, MO. Jim requested that we all wear our favorite Cardinal or baseball gear. We are looking forward to fellowship and time spent with friends and family remembering and retelling our favorite "Jim" stories.
At a time of loss, let us celebrate the greatness of God as Jim did. "We can't wait to see you again as you greet each and every one of those you love at heaven's gates."
