James Kellie Maifeld, Clever MO, passed away on May 15, 2024, after a short battle with Metastatic Kidney Cancer. He was 80 years old.

Jim is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Jane; daughters, Kellie Davis and Bobbie Jo Turner; son-in law, Tim Turner; grandchildren, Tyler Davis, Kirsten Jensen, Bodie and Eli Turner; great grandson, Wyatt; and brothers, Steve Maifeld, Dave Maifeld, and Rick Maifeld. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Kevin and mother Clema Maifeld.

Jim was born on January 19, 1944, in Camp White, OR. He enlisted in the Army in 1961 and served his country till 1967. His service in the Army was as a Heavy Vehicle driver, which led to his long-standing career as an Over the Road Owner Operator. He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his family, friends, neighbors and colleagues. He truly loved each of them- and if you knew him, you knew it.

Celebration of Life, which will be held on June 15, 2024 11am - 1 pm at the Springfield Lake Boathouse, 5324 S Kissick Avenue  Springfield, MO 65804.
