James Edward Garrett, 67, of Branson West, MO, passed away August 23, 2019. He was born May 9, 1952, in Sacramento, CA, to Harold and Elaine Garrett.

James proudly served in the United States Navy. He went on to be a carpenter and built many beautiful log homes. He enjoyed creating bone art, riding his motorcycle and being outdoors. He especially loved spending time with his family, friends and dogs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one aunt, and many beloved dogs.

James is survived by his wife of 23 years, Lisa Garrett; children, Melanie Ownby, Crystal Williams, Larry Williams, and Melissa Childers; grandchildren, Emily, Ashley, Hunter, Ralph, Boone, Calista, Lynnae, Jeffrey, Ashly, Jessi Ray, Brittny; great-grandchildren, Carson, Bradley and Aiden; two sisters, Cindy Oreb and Sharon Moab and husband Mike; nieces and nephews, DJ, Jenni, Sandy and Derek; many dear friends and two beloved dogs that will all miss him dearly.
