IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James Walter
Fletcher
February 16, 1963 – August 20, 2022
James Walter Fletcher was born on February 16th to Cleo and Monty Fletcher. He was the third of six children.
He graduated from North Callaway High School and spent most of his life driving a truck. He spent his time behind the wheel of many different vehicles including dump trucks, semis, concrete pump trucks and most recently a propane truck.
He was known for being able to have a conversation with anyone and was the type of person you had to tell goodbye to multiple times before the conversation would end. It's no secret he had a bit of a checkered past, but he would always help someone in need and tried to do what he thought was right. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, drinking and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his two daughters, Ginny and Megan, and grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family.
If you or someone you know is struggling with substance abuse SAMHSA's National Helpline 1-800-662-HELP(4357) is a free, confidential, 24/7, 365-day-a-year treatment referral and information service for individuals and families facing mental and/or substance use disorders.
The family will host a lunch and memorial celebration at his home located at 5075 County Road 280, Auxvasse MO 65738 on Saturday 9/3/22 from 1-3 pm. Feel free to byob, sides and chairs.
