James "Jay" Gordon Dotson Jr, 60, of Springfield, MO passed away Thursday, August 22,2024.

Jay was married to Elizabeth Dotson for almost 30 years. He was known as a skilled "Jack of all trades". Jay was very proud of all of his children. He enjoyed fishing, guns, spending time with friends and family, and the company of his dog, Nico.

Jay is survived by parents, Gordan and Pat Dotson; wife, Elizabeth Dotson; children, Evan Wantland, Amanda Dotson, Jessica Fantozzi, and Rachael Dotson; and sister, Tina Dotson Gunnels Day; along with many grandchildren and a great granddaughter.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield MO.
