James "Junior" Leo Davis II, 72, of Nixa, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022. He was born October 18, 1949, to James "Leo" and Helen "Trent" Davis in Gainesville, MO.

Junior lived a long and full life. He and his sister, Ramona, lived on a farm near Squires, Missouri. He enjoyed being outdoors – hunting, fishing, and exploring. He spent most of his life in the drywall business. Drywall was his life, on top of construction work. He was always willing to help others when he could. Most days you could find him working on some project around the house after he retired.

Junior leaves behind his children (spouses), Jamie (Don) Oleson of Springfield, MO; Mindy Baughman of Norwood, MO; Lindsey Davis of Norwood, MO. Grandchildren Chantal Holmes, Madison Holmes, and Hunter Baughman. Siblings Ramona Olson of Cedar Rapids, IA. And many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.  He was preceded in death by his father James "Leo" Davis, grandparents Virgil and Mona Davis, and Son-in-law Dennis "DJ" Baughman Jr.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, 2026 W. Woodland St, Springfield, MO 65807.
