James Howard Burks, 62, of Springfield, MO, passed away May 13, 2021. He was born August 8, 1958 in Marshfield, MO, to Donald and Lois Burks.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois; stepmother, Debbie; and sister, Beverly.

He is survived by his father, Donald; son, Shaun; daughter, Kaylee; his partner of 15 years, Terie Miner; brothers, Jack, Rob, Doug, Dustin; and his sisters, Pam, Melissa and Amy; along with a host of family and friends that will miss him dearly. Jim worked alongside his brothers for more than 20 years. He was passionate about the K.C Chiefs. He enjoyed traveling and had a love for motorcycles.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, at Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, 2026 W. Woodland Street, Springfield, MO 65807.
