James (Jim or Jimbo) was born to Be Amie Cantrell on April 9, 1953. He went to his Lord March 3, 2021. During his life, Jim loved race cars, had a restored Ford Pickup for which he won prizes at auto shows, and attended church with his mother and friends regularly.

Jim was a Missourian, but lived in Phoenix, Arizona, enjoying the desert and mountains there. He and his beloved mother returned to Missouri when he was in his 20's, and lived with his grandmother, Sylvia Lee Cantrell, in Springfield. Jim also lived in Nixa, but returned to Springfield where he lived until his death.

Friends and family are welcome to visit Jim's gravesite at Old Liberty Cemetery at the foot of his mother's grave in the Cantrell corner, on the southwest corner of the property. Take Hwy C north out of Seymour just past Cantrell Creek Road. Jim rests in the Peace of Our Lord.
