IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jake Travis
Copley
August 31, 2018 – August 31, 2018
Jake Travis Copley, while here only briefly, was loved deeply. Jake was born and passed on August 31, 2018.
He was welcomed into the arms of his heavenly Father by his grandfather Michael "Pop-Pop" Copley, his aunt Toni Hofmann, his great-grandfather Travis Brown, his great-grandmother Marylea Brown, his great-grandfather Jim Copley, his infant great-uncle Jimmy Brown, and his infant second cousin Trevor Greenfield.
He is survived by his father Jason Copley, his mother Ashley Copley, his brother Bodie Copley, his sisters Meliah and Maggie Copley, his grandparents John Brown, Lora Littles and Paulette Copley, his great grandparents Jim Hanson, Laura Rust, and Juanita Copley, and innumerable aunts, uncles, and cousins.
While he visited this world only briefly, the value of the hours spent with him were beyond measure. Those who love him and hoped to learn to know him await the time when they hear the angels singing his sweet lullaby and can finally meet him on that beautiful shore.
Family will receive friends from 2:30-3:00 PM, Wednesday, September 5, 2018, in the Clark Chapel, James River Church, South Campus with services to follow at 3 PM. Burial will follow in the Rosedale Valley Memorial Gardens, Nixa, MO (1340 South Main Street, Nixa, MO 65714).
CAKES FOR JAKE
At the ceremony, you will receive a "Cakes from Jake" bookmark. Cakes are special. Every birthday, every celebration ends with something sweet, a cake, and people remember. It's all about the memories. To celebrate and remember the little life of Jake, take a bookmark to a local bakery, pay for the cake for a loved one or a stranger and ask the bakery to give the bookmark with the cake. Your small gesture will spread joy, love and awareness of trisomy 13.
