Obituary
He graduated from Oskaloosa High School with the class of 1982. He attended God's Grace Cumberland Church in Greenfield, MO, and enjoyed cooking, welding, and riding his horses.
He is survived by his children, Sarah Hayes of Joplin, (Step-children) Trinity (Keith) Longanecker of Lockwood and Matt Keefover of Natalia, TX; fiancée, Kathy Cox of Greenfield, MO; his parents, Otto and Ruth Hayes of Greenfield; two sisters, Ruth Lahvic of Bell, FL and Alleda (Larry) Stein of Oskaloosa; brother, Gregory (Crystal) Hayes of Greenfield; grandsons, Emmit Mayberry, Bryer Longanecker and Gabriel Keefover; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Phillips; and his grandparents.
Celebration of Max's Life will be held July 9, 2016, at 2:30, in the Gods Grace Cumberland Church, Greenfield, MO. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, Springfield.
