Isaac East

Isaac Benjamin East, 37, of Springfield, MO, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026. He was born April 19, 1989, to Ron and Tonia East.

Isaac, whose name means laughter, grew up reflecting his name. Isaac was always a happy kid who loved life. He was creative and adventurous, whether it was performing with puppets, writing short stories, playing drums, or riding every rollercoaster he could get on; Isaac enjoyed life.

The greatest joy Isaac had in his life was the day he married Olivia on August 14, 2021. The two were kindred spirits, joyful, creative, adventurous, and deeply in love. Isaac was a good and faithful husband to Olivia, and they had a relationship that reflected God’s love.

Isaac was saved and baptized on February 28, 2021, and was a member of 1st Baptist of Ash Grove. Issac was an exceptional drummer who only ever used that gift to serve the Lord. Isaac and Olivia served on the worship team, working with the youth, serving in the nursery, and were faithful to the Lord.

Isaac loved the outdoors and was active in jujitsu, boxing, and with the children in the PAL’s program. Isaac spent 10 years working in education and was a Caregiver to people with disabilities.

Isaac is survived by his wife, Olivia East, and his father, Ron East (Joniene) of Greenfield, Mo. His mother, Tonia Goddard (Ron) of Willard, Mo. Sister Rennie Barker (Ryan) of Willard, Mo. Nieces and Nephews, Brigham, Marlowe, Audie, and Macklin Barker. Step Grandma Judy Edwards of Calf. Along with Uncles, Aunts, and many cousins

Isaac is preceded in death by his grandparents, Laverne and JoAnne Jones; Lee and Jackie East; Ron Edwards; and Aunt Sonna Jones.

Services will be at First Baptist Ash Grove, Saturday, August 15, 2026. Visitation from 10:00-11:30, immediately followed by the Memorial. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the PAL program (www.willardpal.org) in Willard, MO.
