Helen May King, 88, of Springfield, MO, passed away July 15, 2019. She was born November 25, 1930, in Knox City, MO, to James and Ruby Goodson. Helen married Howard Bond in 1955 and together they raised three daughters, Marie, Regina and Sheila; and three sons, Jerry, Jimmy and Dale.

Helen enjoyed sewing and listening to old Gospel music. She was a very giving person and always willing to help her family and friends. Helen also loved her cats very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruby; infant sister, Freda Goodson; sister, Alice Marie Rayburn; father of her children and dear friend, Howard Bond; daughter, Regina Rondeau; infant granddaughter, Melinda Lee, son-in-law, Mark Bussard; and daughter-in-law, Angie Bond.

Helen is survived by her children, Marie Flynn, Sheila Goodrich, Jerry Bond and his wife Gayla, Jimmy Bond, and Dale Bond and his wife Michelle; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, James Nelson Goodson and his wife Norma; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.
