Harold "Frenchy" L. Paris, 81, of White Hall, IL, passed away Friday, October 16, 2015, in his son's home outside of Walnut Grove, MO. He was born September 22, 1934, in Blue Mound, MO, to Lloyd and Wilda Paris. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Thomas Paris and Wilda Ramona (Marshall) Paris; sister, Lenora Pauly; and wife, Ellen Paris; two children, Brenda Lee and Linda Marie Paris; one step-granddaughter, Samantha Sanders; and ex-wife, Addlene (Holloway) Paris. Harold is survived by his four children, Connie Buxton and husband Ray of Stewartsville, MO, Harold Paris Jr. and wife Ioana of Anchorage, AK, Preston Paris and wife Sara of Walnut Grove, MO and Kent Paris and wife Buffy of Springfield, MO; two step-daughters; Veronica Haferkamp and husband George of IL and Terry Campbell; twelve grandchildren, Lori Buxton, Tonya Frazee, Ray Buxton Jr., Brandi, Heather Caribardi, Vlad Paris, Timothy Young, Melissa Conkling, Austin Paris, Nicole Paris, Dalton Paris and Cortney Paris; three step-grandchildren; Brittany Schremp and Kristin Gilbers; great-grandchildren, Grace Conkling, as well as another expected in December and many others; two step-great-grandchildren, Leah and Skyler; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Harold retired from Bound to Stay Bound Book Company, of Jacksonville, IL, after some 20+ years, and lived in White Hall, IL, and surrounding area for more than 25 years. He was known as "Frenchy" to many of the usual Auction attendees around the area. There will be no viewing or services per Harold's request. Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, Springfield, MO.
