Grace Elizabeth Grenier passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2022. She was born September 17, 1972, in Anchorage, Alaska and passed away at age 49.

She was a woman of many walks of life and many people knew her as MaMa Bird or Tempyr. She dedicated her life to helping and caring for others. Whether at work, at home, or playing DDO, if you had a problem or just needed a place to escape from the world, her door was always open. You could always count on a fresh pot of coffee and music time while you talked. She touched and changed so many lives and taught most of us to look at things from other perspectives. If the mountain was too high or too steep to get over, she'd say, "Get a spoon and start taking it down till you can and I'll be right here helping you!"

She is preceded in death by her mother, Doris Lokowich; her stepfather, Cecil Barrymore; and her father, Robert Grenier Sr.

She is survived by her wife/partner, Mel Stephenson; her stepmother, Lynda Jacobs; her sister, Kristy Grenier-Dalton; her brother, Jerry Grenier; her sons, Robert (Meeka) Grenier, Phillip Cage, Duncan Cage, and Domenic Stephenson; her daughter, Brittany Wilson; 3 granddaughters; and a long list of baby birds.

A celebration in honor of Grace will be held Friday, March 25, 2022, from 11:00am - 3:00pm at the Nathaniel Green Botanical Gardens Pavillion, 2400 S Scenic Ave, Springfield, MO 65807.
