Gloria Jane Creed, born on March 8, 1942, passed away December 19th, 2023, from Alzheimer's.  She was preceded by her parents, Wilbert and Thelma Boehne, and her brother Ray.  Gloria left behind one daughter, Rebecca Creed Pottebaum, grandchildren Keaton, Spencer, and Emerson Pottebaum; sister Darlene Fields, niece Sarah Allen, nephew Brian Fields, many cousins, and cherished friends.

Gloria spent most of her life in Education.  She loved teaching and put everything she had into it.  She taught English for years, and then made the move to Administration.  She was the Assistant Principal at Reed Jr. High, and then Principal of Bailey Alternative School.  Education was so important to her, that she not only received her Master's Degree, but also her PhD.  Gloria touched so many lives during her years in education and I can't think of a better way to leave a piece of you behind.

Gloria will be remembered as the classy, beautiful, smart, talented woman she was.  She was a force of nature, and she will be missed.

A visitation will be held Thursday, December 28th, from 6-8pm at Redeemer Lutheran Church.  2852 S. Dayton Ave, Springfield, MO.
