Glenn Allen Marts, 80, of Springfield, MO, passed away July 10, 2020. He was born August 22, 1939, in Bartley, NE, to John and Vera (Rankin) Marts. Glen graduated from Bartley High School and was in the Marine Corp a short time.

He married Leanna Jones and to this union three children were born Frankie, Shirleen and Debbie. In March of 2002, Glenn married Lavanna Slagle.

He is survived by his wife, Lavanna, of the home; daughters, Shirleen West of Oregon and Debbie Haugen of Greeley, CO; stepsons, Charles, James, and Jerry Slagle; sister, Sharon of Nebraska; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; son, Frankie; brother, Gary; sister, Linda; and two infant brothers.

Glenn was a good kind man and said "Thank You" about every meal I fixed for him. He loved the Lord and had read the bible though several times. He loved everyone, made friends everywhere he went and enjoyed pot luck dinners. A few days ago, one of the nurses came in to give him his pain medicine, he took her hand and said, "Thank you for everything you have done for me and everything you do to help me".
