Glenda Bernice Crawford Griffin, aged 57 years, of Springfield, Missouri, passed on to Heavenly Glory on January 13, 2017. Glenda was born on May 8, 1959, to James Gilbert (Clyde) Crawford and Eva Sylvestia Maggard Crawford. Glenda was the ninth of ten children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Eva; brothers, Leo and James "Dottie"; sister, Martha Luetta and her dear friend, Sue Cockrum.

She is survived by her daughter, Lora Griffin Cockrum (Shag) of Springfield; son, Joshua Griffin of Virginia; and six grandchildren, Amber, Aaron, Judah, Silas, Gabriel, and Ida, and a host of family and friends.

Glenda was a long-time member of Fresh Heart Foursquare Church and was a current member of Promise Church. Glenda was naturally evangelistic, a prayer warrior, extremely compassionate, and she loved her Lord Jesus. The mercy and grace that she walked through life with was an inspiration to everyone that knew her. Her simple and direct love for Christ was shared with everyone she met. Her life was not easy, but she made difficult times easier for everyone else. She will be missed.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, January 18, 2017, in the Chapel at Elfindale Mansion, 1701 S. Fort, Springfield, MO. Burial to follow in the Highlandville Cemetery.
