Glenda Lee Buckner of Pleasant Hope, MO, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 30, 2025. She was born to James Lloyd and Lucy Esther Luce on November 7, 1951, in Goodman, MO. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing games, and Bingo. She also like watching classic murder mysteries.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lucy Luce; siblings, William Gordon Luce, James David Luce, Gordon Leroy Luce, Mary Faye Grantham, Lucy Ila Peelman, Roy Elmer McIntosh, and Harry Arthur McIntosh.

She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, James Edward Buckner; their 3 children, Tammey Lynn Johnson-Taylor and her husband Mike, James Allen Buckner, and Justin Ryan Buckner; two brothers, George Luce and Allen Luce and his wife Helen; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other loved ones.

Visitation will be held from 1:30-2:00 PM, with a Memorial Service to follow at 2 PM, Sunday, April 6, 2025, in the New Hope Baptist Church, off of HWY CC, Township, MO. Family and Friends to stay for Fellowship after the service till 4 PM.

Flowers can be delivered to her daughter Tammy Taylor, 10329 N. West Lane, Fair Grove, MO, 65648, prior to the service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services, Springfield, MO.
